VST Industries Appoints Venkateshwaran Sundaram as CHRO

VST Industries has appointed Venkateshwaran Sundaram as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

As CHRO, he will lead VST Industries’ people strategy, strengthen leadership capabilities, develop future-ready talent, and support the company’s long-term growth through a strong focus on its workforce.

Extensive Experience

Sundaram joins the company from V-Guard Industries, where he served as Vice President and Head – HR. He worked closely with the leadership team to build a strong performance-driven culture and align HR priorities with business goals.

He brings more than 30 years of experience across manufacturing, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce. Before V-Guard, he led HR for the Injectable Business at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he focused on leadership development, succession planning, talent management, and employee engagement.

Earlier, Sundaram served as Regional HR Lead for Amazon’s Middle East and North Africa operations, managing HR across the UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. He also held several senior HR roles at Amazon India, where he led employee relations, compliance, talent management, and HR transformation initiatives.

A major part of his career was spent at PepsiCo, where he held multiple HR leadership positions over 12 years, overseeing industrial relations, organizational development, leadership capability, and workforce transformation.

He began his HR career with Godrej & Boyce, where he spent more than a decade in a range of HR leadership roles.
