Hero MotoCorp Appoints Richa Malik as Head HR – Corporate & Enabling Functions

Hero MotoCorp has appointed Richa Malik as Head HR – Corporate & Enabling Functions, marking her move from Kohler Co. to two-wheeler manufacturer in Gurugram.

In her new role, Richa will handle HR for corporate and enabling functions, supporting people practices across these teams. She is based in Gurugram, Haryana.

Extensive Experience

Richa brings around 18 years of professional experience across human resources, consulting, pharmaceuticals, consumer products and technology.

Before joining Hero MotoCorp, Richa spent more than five years with Kohler Co. She most recently served as General Manager HR – K&B South Asia. Earlier, she was Deputy General Manager – HR and Lead – Talent Management & HR Business Partner.

Prior to Kohler, Richa spent nearly four years with Cipla. She joined as Senior Manager – HR and later became Associate Director, gaining experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

She previously worked with Yum! Brands – KFC India as Manager – HR, adding experience in the food and restaurant industry. Before that, she spent about a year with PwC in Human Capital – Assurance.

Richa also worked with Cerebrus Consultants for about four years as Consultant. She began her career at IBM India as an Associate System Engineer, working on Java Web Services.

Richa holds an MBA in Human Resources from SCMHRD. During her studies, she was associated with the HR Forum and edited the institute’s monthly newsletter, HR Mesh.
