Jakson Group Appoints Shilpa Seth as General Manager – HR

Jakson Group, an energy and infrastructure company, has appointed Shilpa Seth as General Manager – Human Resources.

In her new role, Shilpa will handle HR for Jakson’s solar business, with responsibilities covering talent, capability building, organisation development and digital HR initiatives. The role covers key people-related functions for the solar vertical.

Extensive Experience

Shilpa brings around 15 years of experience across energy, financial services and technology-related businesses, with a career largely focused on human resources.

Before joining Jakson Group, Shilpa worked with Reliance Group as General Manager – Human Resources for around 10 months. Her role covered HR responsibilities at the group level.

Prior to Reliance, she spent more than eight years with Vikram Solar. She joined the company as Assistant Manager – Human Resources and later moved through roles including Lead – Performance Management & HRBP – Global BDO and Lead – Corporate HR.

Her most recent position at Vikram Solar was AGM – Talent Management & Special Initiatives. Across these roles, her experience included talent management, performance management, HR business partnering and corporate HR.

Earlier in her career, Shilpa worked as Human Resources Manager at Guiness Securities Limited for about a year. She also spent around four years with BMA Wealth Creators Ltd as HR Manager and began her career with Pecon Software Limited as an HR Executive.

Shilpa holds a PGCHRM in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and an MSc in Applied Psychology, OB & HRM, from Calcutta University.
