Liberty General Insurance Appoints Puja Agarwal as President – HR

Liberty General Insurance, a general insurance company in India, has appointed Puja Agarwal as President – Human Resources.

At Liberty General Insurance, Agarwal will lead the company’s HR function and oversee key areas such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, performance management and leadership hiring.

Extensive Experience

Puja brings over 20 years of experience in human resources across banking, housing finance, and asset management.

Before joining Liberty General Insurance, she was Head – Campus and Central Recruitment at ICICI Bank, where she managed campus hiring and recruitment for central functions. She joined the bank in July 2024.

Earlier, Puja served as Head of Human Resources at ICICI Home Finance Company Limited from 2019 to 2024. In this role, she was responsible for HR strategy as well as people and employee-related initiatives across the organisation.

She also spent more than 15 years at ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd, where she started her career as a Management Trainee and later became Head – Corporate Human Resources.

During her tenure, she worked across talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, HR operations and business partnering.

Puja completed a Human Resources Management programme at the Indian School of Business in 2023. She also holds an MBA in Human Resources from the International School of Business & Media.
