Newgen Software Appoints Tarun Nandwani as Chief Executive Officer

Newgen Software has elevated Tarun Nandwani as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 1, 2026.

In his new role as CEO, he will lead Newgen Software’s overall business strategy, drive growth across global markets, strengthen customer relationships, accelerate product innovation, and oversee the company’s next phase of expansion.

Extensive Experience

Tarun is a long-time Newgen executive with nearly three decades of association with the company. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), a role he has held since September 2021.

As COO, he has been responsible for driving the company’s overall growth, customer success, business expansion, product development, and increasing Newgen’s presence across industries and global markets.

Before becoming COO, Tarun served as Senior Vice President – Business Management between 2019 and 2021, where he led customer relationship management, commercial operations, solution development, and implementation initiatives.

Earlier in his career, he worked as Vice President at Newgen Software from 1993 to 2008, playing an important role during the company’s growth years.

Over the years, Tarun has built extensive experience in customer engagement, business strategy, commercial management, negotiations, problem-solving, and product innovation.

His leadership has also focused on strengthening customer relationships, expanding business from existing clients, and supporting the development of new technology solutions.

He is an engineering graduate in Computer Science from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
