Mars Elevates Shahine D. Ardeshir as P&O Director, AMEA region

Mars has elevated Shahine D. Ardeshir to the role of People & Organization Director for Growth & Enabling Functions for the AMEA region of Mars Snacking.

In her new position, she will lead HR for regional functions across Growth (Marketing), Digital Technologies, Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Legal across the Asia, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) region.

Extensive Experience

Shahine D. Ardeshir has been associated with Mars for over 13 years, holding several strategic HR and transformation leadership roles across the organization. Earlier associated with the Wrigley business, she later played a key role in integrating the Wrigley and Chocolate businesses following the Mars-Wrigley merger.

Prior to this elevation, she served as People & Organization Director – Mars Wrigley, where she played a significant role in leadership development, organizational culture, and talent initiatives.

Over the years, she has led key people and business transformation mandates for the company. Between 2019 and 2021, she worked as Associate Relations Lead – India, Middle East and South Africa for Mars Global Services, overseeing industrial and associate relations across four countries, eight factories, and nearly 2,000 associates.

She also headed the Integration & Transformation Office for Mars-Wrigley Confectionery, where she managed the integration of Wrigley and Chocolate business entities and drove cross-functional operational efficiencies.

Earlier in her journey with Mars, she handled leadership responsibilities across talent acquisition, sales HR, and supply HR functions, including supporting the launch of a new chocolate factory in Pune.

Before joining Mars in 2012, Shahine spent over five years with Whirlpool Corporation in multiple HR leadership roles across Gurgaon, Pune, and Chennai.

She holds a master’s degree from Aston University in Management Research and Organisational Psychology & Business.
