Ramco Systems Appoints Sandesh Bilagi as Chief Executive Officer

Enterprise software company Ramco Systems has promoted Sandesh Bilagi as its Chief Executive Officer after nearly 14 years with the company.

Previously serving as President and Chief Operating Officer, Bilagi will now lead Ramco Systems’ global business strategy, drive international growth, and accelerate the expansion of its AI-led enterprise software and cloud business.

Extensive Experience

Sandesh brings nearly three decades of experience spanning finance, sales, operations, delivery, and business strategy.

He joined Ramco Systems in 2012 as Vice President and Country Head for Australia and New Zealand, where he played a key role in establishing and expanding the company’s presence across the Oceania region.

Sandesh later became Senior Vice President and Region Head for Oceania before being elevated to President and Chief Operating Officer in 2021. As COO, he was responsible for strategy, business performance, legal and contracting, cloud infrastructure, operations, programme management, acquisitions and revenue assurance.

During his tenure, Ramco strengthened its position in cloud-based enterprise software, offering solutions in payroll, aviation maintenance, ERP and logistics. The company has focused on AI and machine learning capabilities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Before joining Ramco Systems, Sandesh held leadership positions at HCL Technologies and Tech Mahindra. At HCL Technologies, he served as Senior Director – Sales, where he built new business verticals across Australia.

Earlier, at Tech Mahindra, he led the company’s Global Delivery Centre operations in China and was involved in strategic deal-making and finance leadership across the Asia-Pacific region.
