SAP Elevates Shweta Mohanty as SVP, Global Head of Business Partnering

SAP has elevated Shweta Mohanty as Senior Vice-President and Global Head of Business Partnering – Corporate Functions, expanding her HR leadership responsibilities at the company globally.

In the new role, Shweta will lead business partnering for SAP’s corporate functions, working with leaders on people matters, organisation, talent, leadership and workforce priorities across the global business. Her profile lists the new role from August 2026.

Extensive Experience

Shweta brings more than two decades of HR experience across technology companies.

She joined SAP in 2015 and has held several HR leadership roles during her 10-year tenure. Before the latest elevation, she was Vice-President and Head of Human Resources for SAP in India, leading HR across R&D, sales and services organisations.

Earlier at SAP, Shweta served as Vice-President and Global HR Business Partner for Enterprise Cloud Services and the SAP Labs Network. She also worked as Director-Human Resources and Global HR Business Partner. Her work included talent strategy, HR business partnering, leadership development and organisational development.

Before SAP, Shweta spent nearly eight years with Microsoft, including as Senior Human Resources Manager and Lead for the India Development Center in Bengaluru. She also worked on the Microsoft-Yahoo Alliance India transition.

She began her career with Wipro, where she spent over six years in HR and strategic resourcing roles, supporting technology and engineering businesses.

Shweta holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development and completed Strategy for Future Readiness at IMD.
