Siddharth Meherkar Joins Mahindra & Mahindra as National HR – Channels

Siddharth Meherkar has joined Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. as National HR – Channels, based in Mumbai, after over 15 years of experience across HR and business partnering roles.

In his new role, Siddharth will handle HR responsibilities for the Channels function, building on his experience in talent management, HR operations, workforce planning, employee engagement and business partnering across large organisations.

Extensive Experience

Siddharth began his career with a summer internship at Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps in 2009 before joining Survik Software as a Recruitment Executive in 2010.

He then moved to Future Value Retail, where he worked as Senior Executive – Human Resources for nearly three years in the retail industry.

In 2013, Siddharth joined Mahindra Finance as Deputy Manager – HR. Over nearly nine years with the company, he progressed to Manager – HR and later State Head – Human Resources. His work covered HR operations and business support in the financial services sector.

He joined Poonawalla Fincorp in 2022 as Zonal HR – West and later became National Lead HRBP for Collection and Support Functions. He handled HR for functions including Collections, Credit, Risk, Finance, Legal and IT, along with responsibilities across the West Zone.

In 2023, Siddharth moved to Reliance Jio Infocomm as HR Business Partner – Lead Talent Management & Operations for Mumbai Circle.

He later took charge of the Maharashtra Circle, supporting more than 7,000 employees through a 12-member HRBP team. His experience covers telecom, financial services, retail, software and industrial sectors.

Siddharth holds an MBA in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunications from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
