Wipro Appoints Priya Jha Choudhary as CHRO for AI Business

Wipro has elevated Priya Jha Choudhary as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its AI Native Business and Platforms unit.

In her new role, she will lead the HR function for the AI Native Business and Platforms unit, focusing on building the talent, culture, and capabilities needed to support Wipro’s AI-native business as it continues to grow.

Extensive Experience

Priya has been with Wipro for more than three years. Before her latest appointment, she served as Head of HR for the Enterprise Applications Global Service Line. She led the HR function for a business with over 35,000 employees across India and international markets. She also worked on integrating employees and HR processes from acquired companies.

Before joining Wipro, Priya spent over nine years at Capgemini. During her tenure, she held several HR leadership roles, including Global Head of Talent and Learning for the Cloud Global Business Line, HR Head for the Banking and Capital Markets business, and Global Lead for Talent and Diversity in the Financial Services business.

Earlier, she founded EQubes Consulting, an HR consulting firm, and worked as an HR Business Partner at KANBAY before it became part of Capgemini.

Priya holds an LLB from the University of Delhi, an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and studied Human Resource Management at Northwestern University.
