Bank of Baroda has announced a major recruitment drive to appoint 2,482 Local Bank Officers (JMG/S-I) on a regular basis across 20 States and Union Territories. The initiative aims to create career opportunities for banking professionals while strengthening the bank’s local talent pool and presence across regional markets.

A key feature of the recruitment is the state-based posting of selected officers. Candidates will be posted in the state for which they have applied for the first 12 years of their service, or until their promotion to SMGS-IV Grade, whichever is earlier.
According to the bank, this approach will help build a workforce with a better understanding of local markets, customer needs and regional languages.
Officers with knowledge of the local language and culture can support stronger customer relationships and improve banking services in their respective areas.
The recruitment covers several states, including Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Odisha, among others.
