From Campus to Career: XISS Alumni Meet Brings 69 Batches Together

The Alumni Association of the XISS Mumbai Chapter will host its annual Alumni Meet on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Holiday Inn, Andheri, bringing together more than 200 alumni representing over 69 batches of Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi.

The event will bring together senior industry leaders, CHROs, HR and management professionals, students and faculty members to reconnect, exchange experiences and discuss developments across the HR and management landscape.
A key feature of this year’s programme will be a book reading of Maps and Markers: Unwritten Rules for Building a Career and Leading People by Shourya K. Chakravarty. The session will explore practical perspectives on career building and people leadership.
Networking and Industry Insights
The evening will begin with a welcome reception, followed by networking sessions and discussions on current industry trends. XISS alumni and industry professionals will share their experiences and perspectives, with key takeaways from the discussions to be shared after the event.

The programme will also include an Alumni–Student Connect session, giving final-year students from XISS Ranchi an opportunity to interact with alumni, learn from their career journeys and build professional connections.
A felicitation ceremony will recognise distinguished alumni and celebrate their contributions and achievements across different sectors.
Students and professors from XISS will also participate in the event and share their perspectives on the changing nature of HR and management.

Founded in 1955, XISS Ranchi saw its first batch graduate in 1957. The institute offers programmes in Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management and the Fellow Programme in Management, along with a Post Graduate Certificate in Management.
Over the years, XISS has built a strong alumni network across industries in India and overseas. Its emphasis on management education, leadership and social responsibility has contributed to its standing as a recognised institution in the field of management education.
