This year, NHAI has expanded the program to include more subjects. While civil engineering is still a key area, students from technology, management, law, commerce, and mass communication can also apply.

The goal is to bring together students from different backgrounds. This helps them learn how large infrastructure projects are planned and managed, including areas like project execution, policy, and working with different stakeholders.

Work Experience, Stipend, and Certificate

Selected students will work at NHAI offices or project sites. They will get a chance to work with experienced professionals and learn how highway projects are handled in real life.

Interns will receive:

  • A monthly stipend of ₹20,000
  • A certificate after completing the program

How to Apply

Interested candidates can visit the official NHAI internship portal, get more information, and apply before April 15, 2026.

This internship helps students build skills, gain industry knowledge, and improve job chances in the future.
