Cognizant hiring freshers for Digital Workplace Roles till June 15

Cognizant has announced a fresh hiring drive for its Digital Workplace Practice, inviting applications from 2025 and 2026 graduates across India.

The recruitment is for the Service Desk role, which serves as a key support function within the company’s IT services operations.

The hiring program is open to graduates from various three-year undergraduate courses, offering an entry point into the technology services industry.

Selected candidates will work with clients and internal teams to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth IT operations.

The application window is currently open and will close on June 15, 2026.

Role Focused on Technical Support

As part of the Service Desk team, candidates will be responsible for supporting end-users facing IT-related issues.

The role involves handling service requests, troubleshooting technical problems, and ensuring the timely resolution of tickets.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for users reporting IT issues.
Log, monitor, and resolve service desk tickets within defined timelines.
Troubleshoot hardware and software-related concerns.
Escalate complex technical issues to specialized support teams.
Create and update knowledge-base articles for faster issue resolution.
Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction standards.

Cognizant stated that candidates should possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the flexibility to work in different shifts from company office locations.

Eligibility and Important Requirements

The hiring drive is open to graduates from courses such as B.Com, BCA, B.Sc, BA, BBA, B.Voc, and BMS.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduating in 2025 or 2026 from a three-year full-time undergraduate program.
Minimum 50% marks in Class X, Class XII, Diploma (if applicable), and Graduation.
No standing arrears at the time of application and joining.
Candidates enrolled in full-time postgraduate courses are not eligible.
Open to Indian nationals and OCI candidates currently residing in India.
Willingness to work from any Cognizant office location across India.
