AICTE Opens Two-Month Digital Automation & Data Internship, Apply by Sept 1

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in collaboration with Lumentix Solutions Pvt Ltd, has announced a two-month Digital Automation & Data Internship for undergraduate students.

The full-time programme is open to eligible students across India and is scheduled to begin immediately.

The programme is aimed at students pursuing B.Sc and BCA who are looking to gain practical exposure to software automation, data-related work, and web application testing. It is also designed to support students completing the mandatory APSCHE academic internship curriculum.

Internship Details

This Digital Automation & Data Internship will run for eight weeks and has 10 openings. The listed stipend is ₹0 per month, while students can earn 8 academic credits through the programme.

The internship will start immediately, and the last date to apply is September 1, 2026. The programme is available across India and requires students to be available for the full two-month duration.

Roles and Responsibilities

As part of the internship, students will assist with basic software automation workflows and data-related tasks. They will also help test web applications and document user workflows.

Interns will work with project datasets, including cleaning, organising and managing data using spreadsheets and other digital tools. The programme is intended to give students practical exposure to basic technology and data-related work in an organisation.

Eligibility

The opportunity is open to final-year B.Sc students specialising in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics, as well as BCA students.

Applicants should have basic computer knowledge, familiarity with MS Office or Google Sheets, and logical thinking skills. Candidates must also be available for the complete eight-week internship.

Advanced programming experience is not listed as a mandatory requirement for the programme.

Certificate and Academic Requirements

Students who complete the Digital Automation & Data Internship will receive an industry internship completion certificate. The programme also includes APSCHE weekly logbook signing and a final evaluation marksheet as part of the academic internship requirements.
