DRDO TBRL Announces Paid Internship Programme 2026, Apply by May 25

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications for the Paid Internship Programme 2026 at the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), Chandigarh.
The internship notification has been released on the official DRDO website. According to the official notice-
- The application process started on May 7, 2026
- Interested students can apply until May 25, 2026.
TBRL has announced 37 internship positions for students from engineering and science backgrounds.
The internship programme allows students to gain practical experience in defence research and related technical fields.
Selected candidates will work with scientists and technical teams on research projects connected to defence systems and scientific applications.
Eligibility and Internship Areas
The internship is open to students pursuing B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc Engineering, and M.Sc courses from recognized institutions. Applicants must meet the academic requirements mentioned in the official notification, including minimum marks or CGPA criteria.
Students selected for the programme may get exposure to areas such as terminal ballistics, explosives, weapon systems, electronics, material science, and other related engineering and scientific fields.
Interns will also get a chance to understand how research work is carried out inside a major DRDO laboratory.
