The challenge is open to students aged 18 and above who are currently enrolled in a degree or course at a college or university in India. Participants can apply individually or in teams of two.
According to the company’s official programme website, the final submission deadline is November 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM IST. Internships are scheduled to begin on January 1, 2027.
How the AI Internship Challenge Works
Participants must identify a practical problem and build a working application using at least one of Gnani AI’s models or APIs. There is no fixed problem statement, allowing students to develop solutions for businesses, developers, creators and other users.

The programme provides 5,000 credits for using Gnani AI’s APIs. Participants can work with its speech-to-text and text-to-speech capabilities, along with its Evon reasoning model, subject to the applicable access conditions.
To complete their submissions, participants must provide a demonstration video of their working application, a written explanation of the project, details of the Gnani AI technology used and links to their public posts on LinkedIn or X.
Participants must publish their demonstration and follow the programme’s rules on authentic engagement. The company will verify engagement on nominated posts and review eligible submissions before shortlisting candidates for interviews.

Gnani AI is offering up to 100 paid internships, with stipends of up to ₹1 lakh per month for each selected intern. The actual stipend will depend on the candidate’s skills, interview performance and suitability for available roles.
The challenge also includes 10 awards worth ₹50,000 each, covering categories such as Indian-language applications, code-mixed voice experiences, real-world impact, creativity, solo projects and team entries.
For team applications, each member must meet the eligibility requirements and register individually as required by the programme terms. Both members will be interviewed separately, and internship offers will be decided individually.
The internships are scheduled to begin in January 2027. High-performing interns may also be considered for full-time employment, subject to performance, role availability and business requirements. Neither an internship nor subsequent employment is guaranteed.
How to Apply: Eligible students can review the programme rules, registration process and submission requirements on the official Gnani AI website before applying.
