IBM SkillsBuild Launches 1,000 Internships in AI Automation

IBM SkillsBuild and CSRBOX have announced a new virtual internships titled “AI Automation & Intelligent Solutions Internship” for students across India.

The internship will run for six weeks and is scheduled to begin on June 23, 2026. Interested candidates can apply for the program till June 20, 2026.

The internship has been introduced to help students learn about artificial intelligence, automation tools, and intelligent systems through practical training and project work.

The program will be conducted in virtual mode, allowing students from different parts of the country to participate.

According to the internship details, the program has been designed as a 60-hour learning experience focused on AI-based automation and workflow solutions.

Program Structure and Training

The internship includes live sessions, self-learning modules, and project development activities. Out of the total 60 hours, 15 hours will be dedicated to mentor-led masterclasses, while another 15 hours will include guided self-learning through IBM SkillsBuild courses. The remaining 30 hours will focus on project work.

During the internship, students will learn about workflow automation, AI agents, API integration, and intelligent decision-making systems. Participants will also work on building automation solutions and AI-based systems as part of the final capstone project.

The organizers said the internship is aimed at helping students understand how AI technologies are used in solving business and operational problems. Students will also get exposure to project-based learning and industry-related applications.

Eligibility and Internship Details

Students from any course, stream, or specialization can apply for the internship. Candidates must be available for the complete six-week duration and should have an interest in AI and automation technologies.

Attendance in mentor-led sessions will be compulsory. Participants who successfully complete the internship, including the project and presentation, will receive a completion certificate. The internship also carries 2 academic credits.
