Jio Institute Opens Applications for Paid Summer Internship 2026

Jio Institute has opened applications for its Summer Research Internship Programme 2026. The program is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students across India.

It runs for two months and aims to give students real research experience while helping them learn across different fields.

Research Areas

The internship covers several important areas based on current industry and academic needs. These include AI in healthcare and scientific systems, materials science for energy and electronics, and modern AI systems like large language models, multimodal AI, and ethical AI.

Students will also work on AI in consumer behavior, marketing, and digital platforms. Other topics include machine learning, decision systems, and game theory. This year, there is also a special track focused on sports talent and competition pathways for school athletes.

Eligibility and Structure

The program will run from June 1 to July 31, 2026.

Eligible students include:

• Third- and fourth-year undergraduate students (B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc., BBA or similar)
• Second-year postgraduate students (M.Tech, M.Sc., MBA or similar)

Selected students will work on guided research projects with faculty support. This will help them use what they have learned in real situations and get hands-on experience with tools and methods.

Stipend and Benefits

Interns will receive financial support and stay on campus.

• Undergraduate students: ₹10,000 per month
• Postgraduate students: ₹20,000 per month

Accommodation will be provided for all interns.
