TCS and NVIDIA Bet Big on AI with New Bengaluru Lab

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched the TCS Autonomous Engineering Lab Powered by NVIDIA at its Global Axis campus in Bengaluru. The new facility will help companies develop, test, and deploy AI solutions for the mobility and manufacturing sectors.

TCS said the lab has been set up to help businesses move AI projects from the pilot stage to large-scale implementation. Companies will be able to build, test, and validate AI applications before using them in real industrial environments.
Focus on Manufacturing and Mobility
The lab combines TCS’ Industrial Autonomy & Engineering (IA&E) capabilities with NVIDIA’s AI platform. It will support the development of AI applications for factories, vehicles, and industrial operations.

Businesses can use the facility to test different use cases, identify issues before deployment, and reduce the time taken to implement AI solutions.
What TCS and NVIDIA said
Sreenivasa Chakravarti, Global Head and Vice President of Industrial Autonomy and Engineering at TCS, said the lab will help customers turn AI ideas into practical business solutions.
He added that the partnership with NVIDIA will support faster deployment of AI across industries.

Alvin DaCosta, Vice President, AI Consulting Partners Organization at NVIDIA, said many companies are looking to use AI in their physical operations. He said the new lab will give customers the infrastructure needed to test and deploy AI solutions more efficiently.
Solutions Available at the Lab
The new lab includes several AI-based solutions for industrial use, including:
- TCS DriveSphere™ for connected and software-defined vehicles.
- AI solutions for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving.
- Smart manufacturing solutions for predictive maintenance, automated quality inspection, and process optimisation.
- Agentic AI and Vision AI applications for engineering, manufacturing, and service operations.
- Digital twin and simulation tools to test vehicles, factories, and industrial systems before deployment.
The launch is part of the ongoing collaboration between TCS and NVIDIA in artificial intelligence and accelerated computing.
According to TCS, the new lab will help customers build, test, and deploy AI solutions faster while reducing implementation risks.
