AICTE Launches 6-Week 5G Technology Internship Program

AICTE and Uniconverge Technologies have announced a six-week online internship program in 5G Technology for students and aspiring professionals interested in telecom and wireless communication systems.

The part-time internship is open to candidates across India, and applications will remain open until August 31, 2026.

The internship will begin immediately and focus on practical learning in next-generation communication technologies. Participants will gain exposure to 5G network architecture, wireless standards, spectrum management, network slicing, and edge computing concepts.

Focus on Practical Learning

According to the company, the internship has been designed as a project-based learning program to help candidates understand how 5G technology supports IoT, smart cities, Industry 4.0, and modern telecom infrastructure. Interns will also work on a capstone project focused on real-world 5G use cases.

The program aims to provide hands-on understanding of telecom technologies and help learners build portfolio-ready case studies relevant to the industry.

Eligibility and Internship Structure

Candidates from any academic background or specialization can apply, provided they are available for the full six-week duration and have a relevant interest in the field.

As part of the internship requirements, participants must submit weekly assignments, maintain at least 75% participation, and complete the final capstone project to receive certification.

Internship Benefits

Selected interns will receive an internship completion certificate along with exposure to 5G architecture, edge computing, network slicing, and smart infrastructure applications. The internship does not offer a stipend and has 10 openings available.
