AICTE and Uniconverge Technologies have opened applications for a six-week online Cyber Security Internship for students and early-career learners who want hands-on experience in digital security and cyber defense.

The part-time program is open to applicants across India, and registrations will stay open until August 31, 2026.

The internship begins right away and follows a project-based format built around real cybersecurity tasks and tools. The company plans to select 10 interns.

Training Built Around Real Work

The program includes topics such as threat analysis, vulnerability testing, ethical hacking basics, network security, and standard practices used in Security Operations Centers (SOCs).

Interns will complete assignments, threat detection tasks, and work with network security tools during the program. At the end of the six weeks, participants will finish a capstone cyber security assessment project that can be added to their work portfolio.

Certificate and Work Experience

Candidates who complete the internship will receive an Internship Completion Certificate along with practical experience in cyber security analysis and assessment. The company said the program will help participants learn about current cyber risks, security systems, and workplace skills used in the field.

The internship also includes training in ethical hacking methods, vulnerability scanning, and cyber security case studies that can support future job applications.

Who Can Apply

Students and applicants from any academic stream can apply if they have an interest in cyber security and related skills. Participants must be available for the full six-week period.

Interns must submit weekly assignments, keep at least 75 percent attendance, and complete the final capstone project to receive certification. The company also stated that all participants are expected to follow professional behavior during the program.

Interested candidates can apply through the AICTE Internship portal.
