Ascendion Appoints Saraswathi Chandrasekharan as Chief People Officer

Ascendion has appointed Saraswathi Chandrasekharan (Saras) as its Global Chief People Officer.

The company said, “We are excited to welcome Saraswathi Chandrasekharan (Saras) to Ascendion as our new Chief People Officer. Saras brings over two decades of experience building and scaling talent systems for global organizations, with deep expertise across talent management, organization development, HR digitization, and Total Rewards.

“She has held leadership roles spanning multiple functions and geographies at leading global technology and consulting firms, and her work has earned wide recognition for innovation in talent and performance management.” the company added.

The company further said, “At Ascendion, Saras will lead our global People function, advance our culture agenda, and help define what it means to hire, develop, and deploy talent in an AI-native organization. We are excited to have Saras on board as we continue to build a workforce where people and AI work together to unlock exponential value.”

Extensive Experience and Journey

Saras joined Ascendion in May 2026 and brings more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on building scalable, future-ready people practices that align with business strategy and enable growth.

Prior to this, she spent over 16 years at Infosys in senior roles, including Associate Vice President and Senior Principal, where she led compensation and benefits, sales compensation, total rewards for APAC and MEA, CnB digitization, and global career and skill architecture.

Her Infosys tenure also encompassed performance management, organization design, and career development for large global teams. Earlier in her career, Saras worked as an HR consultant at Deloitte India and held HR roles at Sterlite and other firms.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal.
