Divya Gupta Appointed as Associate Director – HR at HCLTech

Divya Gupta has been elevated to Associate Director – Human Resources at HCLTech from her most recent role as General Manager – HR.

In her new role, Divya will bring her experience in HR business partnering, workforce planning, compensation, performance management, and talent management to support business operations and employee-related priorities across geographies.

Extensive Experience

Divya has more than 15 years of professional experience, most of it with HCLTech. Before her elevation, she served as General Manager – HR and Associate General Manager, handling HR responsibilities for business operations.

She has worked as the HR business partner for HCLTech’s North America (NORAM) geography, supporting a workforce of more than 13,000 employees across locations.

Her responsibilities included compensation and performance management, succession planning, talent management, attrition analysis, and cost optimisation.

She has also served as the HR lead for the US geography of the company’s infrastructure business, managing a global workforce of more than 8,000 employees.

Her work covered manpower budgeting, productivity analysis, restructuring, utilisation, employee engagement, grievance handling and performance management.

During her tenure at HCLTech, Divya has held several positions, including Deputy General Manager – Human Resources, Group Manager, Senior Manager – HR Business Partner, Associate General Manager and General Manager – HR.

Earlier, she worked in international HR, focusing on compensation and benefits, overseas salary structures, cost-of-living analysis, employee transfers and HR policies.

Divya began her career at HCLTech in 2010 as an HR trainee and progressed through various roles within the organisation.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources and Finance from Amity University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, University of Delhi.
