SRF Appoints Jyothsana Vasudevan as President and CHRO

SRF Limited, a diversified chemicals and materials company, has appointed Jyothsana Vasudevan as President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective October 5, 2026.

In her new role, Jyothsana will lead the company’s human resources function as part of its senior management. Her experience spans HR strategy, talent management, employee relations, organisational development and people practices across multiple industries.

Extensive Experience

Jyothsana brings more than 24 years of HR experience across renewable energy, manufacturing, technology, supply chain, shared services and consumer durables.

Before joining SRF, Jyothsana served as Senior Vice President and Head HR – Manufacturing at Avaada Electro, where she led HR for the company’s solar manufacturing business.

Her work covered talent attraction and mobility for white-collar and blue-collar employees, total rewards, employer branding, culture and HR processes during a period of expansion.

Before Avaada, she spent nearly 17 years with Shell in a range of HR roles. Her last position was Global Resourcing Manager for India, Malaysia, the Philippines and Poland.

Earlier, she served as Country Head – Employee Relations and Industrial Relations in India and as HR Leader for Lubricants Supply Chain covering Asia Pacific, the Middle East and South Africa.

Earlier in her career, Jyothsana worked with Whirlpool Corporation for about five years. She held HR roles covering IT teams, talent acquisition, learning and development, employer branding and university relations.

Jyothsana holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Delhi University.
