Gold Plus Glass Industry Appoints Satya Narayan Maharana as CHRO

Gold Plus Glass Industry Ltd. has appointed Satya Narayan Maharana as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In his new role, he will lead the company’s people strategy, talent management, leadership development, and workforce initiatives.
His appointment is expected to support Gold Plus Glass Industry’s efforts to strengthen its workforce, develop talent, improve HR practices, and enhance employee experience across the organization.
Extensive Experience
Satya Narayan brings over two decades of experience in human resources, organizational development, talent management, compensation and benefits, HR transformation, and employee engagement.

Before joining Gold Plus Glass Industry, he served as General Manager – HR at Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd. (IMFA), where he led strategic HR functions, including manpower planning, talent acquisition, performance management, organizational effectiveness, HR digital transformation, and employee experience initiatives.
He also played a key role in driving HR process transformation and building a performance-oriented workplace culture.
Prior to IMFA, he was Vice President – Product at Benepik, where he worked on technology-led employee rewards, recognition, and engagement solutions.
He also spent nearly nine years with Haier Appliances India, holding several senior HR leadership positions, including Associate Director – HR and Head of Talent Management & Organization Development.
Earlier in his career, Satya Narayan worked with HCL Technologies, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and Adecco, gaining extensive experience in HR operations, payroll, compliance, employee relations, and HR automation across India and international markets.

An MBA in Human Resources, Satya Narayan has also completed an Executive Management Development Programme in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur.
