Salcomp Appoints Renuka Gowda as Head – HR, India Business

Salcomp India has appointed Renuka Gowda as Head – Human Resources for its India business.
In this new role, she oversees the entire gamut of HR, including talent management, employee relations, HR operations, and workforce planning across the company’s India operations.
Extensive Experience
Based in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, Renuka brings more than 25 years of HR leadership experience across manufacturing, infrastructure, telecom, shipping, and corporate services.
Before joining Salcomp India, she worked briefly as Human Resources Director at Beverage Union in Mumbai. Earlier, she worked with Altius, where she managed major HR functions during a period of company growth.
Renuka is well known for her long tenure at Peak Infrastructure Management Services Pvt. Ltd., a Brookfield-owned company focused on highway operations and emergency response services.
During her nine years there as Head of Human Resources and Administration, she handled business planning, talent management, compensation and benefits, compliance, employee engagement, training, and HR operations.
She also supported labour compliance efforts and worked closely with business leaders on employee relations and performance reviews.

Her experience also includes working as Chief Human Resources Officer at Summit DigiTel and handling consulting work for FOXCONN/Rising Stars Mobile India Pvt. Ltd.
Earlier in her career, she held senior HR roles at Gammon Infrastructure Projects Ltd., where she helped build the HR department, introduced company-wide performance review systems, and worked with KPMG on HR process improvements.
