Yatra Online Appoints Malay Kant Ghorai as Chief Experience Officer

Yatra Online Limited has appointed Malay Kant Ghorai as its Chief Experience Officer, strengthening the company’s leadership team.

Announcing the appointment, company said, “We’re excited to welcome Malay Kant Ghorai as Chief Experience Officer.” With more than two decades of experience across customer experience, operations, business transformation, and delivery excellence, Ghorai brings deep expertise in driving operational agility and customer-centric transformation initiatives across global organizations.

“At Yatra, Malay Kant will focus on enhancing service delivery, improving operational efficiency, and creating seamless experiences for enterprise clients and partners.” The company added.

Extensive Experience

Before joining Yatra, Malay Kant served at Mercer as Senior Director – Global Operational Excellence, Automation & AI, where he led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives powered by analytics, automation, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

He also briefly held the role of Executive Vice President – Operations, CX, Strategic Partnerships, and Delivery Excellence.

Earlier, he spent over three years at Mettl as Principal and Vice President, leading customer experience, core operations, and strategic growth initiatives across skills, education, and government sectors.

During his tenure, he helped improve customer satisfaction scores, reduce operational costs, and drive business expansion through digital transformation and process optimization.

Malay Kant has also held leadership roles at Wipro, Alight Solutions, Aon, IBM, WNS Global Services, and iGATE Global Solutions, building extensive expertise in quality transformation, client delivery, automation, and operational excellence.

An alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and Annamalai University, Malay Kant is recognized for his strong background in Lean Six Sigma, customer experience transformation, and enterprise operations leadership.
