Choosing Purpose Over Position
Explaining his decision, Nathan said that at this stage of his career, he wants the freedom to pursue work that aligns with his personal passions.
He plans to dedicate more time to his family while focusing on reading, writing, and leadership development.
Reflecting on his professional journey, Nathan noted that leadership is not defined by job titles or corporate positions, but by the positive difference one makes in people’s lives.
According to him, every workplace offers an opportunity to create meaningful impact, build stronger teams, and leave an organisation better than it was found.

Returning to Human Capital
Nathan also revealed that his next chapter will take him back to an area he has long been passionate about—human capital.
He intends to work closely with leaders and managers through coaching, mentoring, storytelling, and leadership development initiatives.
Known as one of India’s most respected HR professionals, Nathan previously spent over three decades at Deloitte India, where he served as Partner and Chief Talent Officer, leading talent strategy, leadership development, and organisational transformation.
His move signals a return to his roots in people development and reflects a growing trend of senior business leaders choosing purpose-driven work centred on coaching, mentoring, and developing future leaders.
