- 78,000-plus women advisors were associated with the company as of September 30, 2026.
- 47% of women advisors had been associated with the insurer for more than 10 years.
- More than 500 women advisors had qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an association for high-performing insurance and financial services professionals.
Amish Banker, Chief Distribution Officer at ICICI Life Insurance, said the company believes talent has no gender. He highlighted the contribution of women advisors to understanding customer needs and maintaining long-term relationships.
Narishakti Initiative Offers Flexible Career Opportunities
Launched in 2024, the Narishakti initiative aims to help women build careers as financial planners. The programme provides training and support, along with flexibility in working schedules.

It is intended for women from different backgrounds, including homemakers, salaried professionals and businesswomen who want to enter the insurance advisory profession. The company says the initiative does not require upfront investment.
The planned expansion is expected to increase women’s representation in the insurer’s advisor network and extend its agency distribution reach.
These are insurance advisor opportunities, not necessarily salaried jobs. Advisors earn commissions based on their insurance business rather than receiving a fixed salary.
