Hiring for new roles to take 27% efforts of HR professionals in FY25

Genius Consultants’ report, based on a survey of 1,114 HR professionals and C-suite executives conducted from March 1 to April 15 this year, indicates that hiring for new roles will demand 27% of HR professionals’ efforts in FY25.

This finding highlights HR professionals’ significant focus on recruitment activities in FY25, underscoring the strategic importance of talent acquisition for organizational growth and development.

The survey results emphasize the growing responsibilities of HR professionals in navigating the complexities of the hiring landscape and meeting the evolving needs of their organizations.

Genius Consultants CMD R P Yadav told PTI, “The hiring outlook for 2024-25 across the industry indicates a strong focus on new position hiring, which will make up 27 percent of recruitment efforts.”

“This strategic direction reflects a commitment to meeting the evolving demands of the market and the infusion of fresh talent,” R P Yadav added.

The report further stated that 32 percent of hiring is expected to be at the level of those having 4-8 years of work experience.
