AICTE launches Six-Month Paid Internship in Data Science, AI, ML

AICTE and Youngminds Technology Solutions Private Limited have started a six-month online internship program in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) for students in India.

The program gives students practical work experience and exposure to current digital tools and methods.

The internship began on April 28, 2026, and applications are open until October 28, 2026. Students pursuing B.Tech., B.E., or similar degree programs from any branch can apply if they have the required skills and interest in these subjects.

Work on Industry Projects

Selected interns will take part in projects linked to data analysis, prediction models, and business decision support. They will work with real datasets and help solve business problems with AI and ML methods.

Interns will collect, clean, and organize data from sources such as databases, APIs, and flat files. They will also support data preparation and analysis tasks used for business reporting and insights.

Since the internship is fully online, students from any part of India can join and work with company teams remotely.

Stipend and Certificates

Students selected for the program will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 during the six-month period. The company will also give internship completion certificates to eligible interns.

High-performing interns may receive Letters of Recommendation (LoRs) and special appreciation awards based on their work and results.

Evaluation and Number of Openings

The company said interns will be reviewed based on task completion, code quality, learning progress, communication, and teamwork. Attendance and leave rules will follow company policy.

The internship has 200 openings, giving many students a chance to gain experience in AI, ML, and data science.
