AMRUT Kerala Announces 6-Month Paid IT & E-Governance Internship

The State Mission Management Unit, AMRUT Kerala, has invited applications for a six-month full-time internship in IT & E-Governance at Thiruvananthapuram.

The internship is part of the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) scheme, a Central Government initiative focused on urban development projects such as water supply, drainage, sewerage, urban transport, and parks.

The internship will begin immediately, and applications are open until May 30, 2026. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹10,000.

Internship Role

The selected intern will work on data analysis, data monitoring, evaluation support, documentation, website management, databases, and programming-related tasks.

The internship may be extended up to one year based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology streams can apply. This includes BE/BTech, ME/MTech, BSc/MSc Computer Science, BCA, MCA, and diploma holders in computer-related fields.

Applicants should apply within three years of completing their course.

Basic knowledge of data analysis, databases, programming, documentation, and website management is preferred. Candidates from Kerala, especially Thiruvananthapuram and nearby districts, will be given preference.

Internship Benefits

Apart from the stipend, interns will receive a completion certificate and an opportunity to take part in government-related activities, workshops, training sessions, and project site visits under the AMRUT scheme.

The internship follows the guidelines of the TULIP (The Urban Learning Internship Program) framework and currently has one opening available.

The internship offers practical exposure to government projects, along with a monthly stipend and learning opportunities under the AMRUT Kerala mission.
