Renjini Raj Appointed as Head – Rewards and Performance, India & GBS at Diageo India

Renjini Raj has been elevated to Head – Rewards and Performance, India & Global Business Services at Diageo India, effective September 2026.

In her new role, Renjini will oversee rewards and performance functions for Diageo India and its Global Business Services operations. She will be based in Bengaluru and focus on compensation, benefits, performance management and related HR programmes.

Extensive Experience

Renjini brings more than 20 years of experience in compensation, benefits, total rewards, HR analytics and HR technology across the consumer goods, technology and IT services sectors.

Before taking up her current role, Renjini was Senior General Manager – Total Rewards at Diageo India. She joined the company in 2023, following nearly four years as Director – Total Rewards at HARMAN International.

Earlier, she spent over four years with Manhattan Associates as Country Manager – Total Rewards. Her responsibilities included compensation and benefits policies, annual compensation planning, salary benchmarking, HR projects and HR technology initiatives, including Workday.

Renjini previously worked with iGATE as Senior Manager – Compensation & Benefits for over three years. Her responsibilities included compensation practices, market benchmarking, annual compensation reviews, policy frameworks and compliance across geographies.

She began her career with Tech Mahindra as a C&B Specialist, working on compensation and benefits, annual compensation reviews, benchmarking and compensation automation.

Before that, she spent over three years at Infosys Technologies as a C&B Specialist, handling compensation and benefits, international assignments, salary benchmarking and compliance across countries.

Renjini holds an MBA in HR and Operations from SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore. She also completed a programme in Business Analytics and Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
