TCS Announces B.Sc Ignite Hiring 2026; Registration Now Open

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has started registrations for its TCS B.Sc Ignite Hiring 2026 program. Eligible candidates from the 2026 batch can apply until July 22, 2026, while the online test will be held on August 26, 2026.

The hiring drive is for science and computer application graduates who want to start a career in the IT industry.

Eligibility

Candidates from the Batch of 2026 can apply if they are pursuing:

BCA
B.Sc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Cyber Security, or Biochemistry
B.Voc (Computer Science/Information Technology)

About TCS Ignite

Candidates selected through the hiring process will join TCS Ignite, a training program that helps science graduates learn software and IT skills. The program includes training in:

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Generative AI
Machine Learning
Cloud Computing
Blockchain
Robotics
Digital Engineering
AR/VR/XR

Salary and Career Growth

According to TCS, employees in the Ignite program can receive salary increases of up to 2.5 times within one to two years, depending on their performance.

The company also provides training to help candidates prepare for software and IT roles.

Higher Education Support

The program also allows employees to study postgraduate courses offered by selected Indian universities. TCS says its Initial Learning Program can count for up to 50% of the academic credits required for these courses.

How to Apply

Candidates can apply through the TCS NextStep Portal by following these steps:

Register on the TCS NextStep Portal.
Select the “IT” category.
Generate a Reference ID.
Click “Apply for Drive.”
Complete and submit the application form.

Candidates who already have a Reference ID should log in and click “Apply for Drive.” After submitting the application, the status should show “Application Received.”
