DRDO DIBT Announces Paid Internship 2026-27, Apply by June 15

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications for its Paid Internship Scheme 2026-27 at the Defence Institute of Bio-Defence Technologies (DIBT), Mysuru.

The internship programme is open for students pursuing final-year M.Sc courses in Biotechnology and Microbiology during the academic year 2026-27.

DIBT is a specialised research institute functioning under DRDO and the Ministry of Defence. The institute works in the field of biodefence technologies and advanced biological research for national security applications.

Internship Duration and Stipend

The internship will be conducted for a period of six months at DIBT, Mysuru. Selected students will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month, amounting to ₹30,000 for the entire internship duration.

The stipend will reportedly be paid in instalments based on attendance and satisfactory performance.
