UGC Opens Internship Opportunities for Students Across Sectors

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced internship and research internship opportunities for Undergraduate (UG) students and released guidelines for applicants.

The announcement was shared by the UGC through an official post on X, informing students about the Internship/Research Internship programme for undergraduate students and the application process.

Internship Categories for UG Students
UGC has introduced two categories under the internship programme. The first category is employability-oriented internships, which will provide students with work experience and practical exposure in professional environments.

The second category is research-oriented internships, aimed at giving students training in research tools, methods and academic projects. These internships are expected to help students improve analytical and problem-solving skills.
