Google Opens Applications for 2027 Software Engineering Internship

Google has announced applications for its Software Engineering Internship Program for Summer 2027, offering students an opportunity to work on large-scale technologies and AI-driven software systems at the company’s India offices.

The 10–12 week internship program is scheduled to begin in May or June 2027 and will be available across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Interested candidates must submit their applications by June 28, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

The Google Internship is open to students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Dual Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Applicants should have experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Go, along with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Google has stated that students with experience in distributed systems, concurrency, multi-threading, or synchronization will be preferred.

Candidates in their penultimate year of study and those with exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, databases, networking, or systems engineering may have an advantage.

Google has advised students to select “Now attending” under Degree Status while filling out the application form to enable transcript uploads.
