Application Timelines
There is no single application deadline for all ISRO internships. Every ISRO centre announces its own schedule.
- At the UR Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), applications for internships between July and September 2026 have already closed. The next application window for internships scheduled between October and December 2026 will open on 3 August 2026.
- The Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) will accept applications from 1 August to 31 August 2026 for internships planned between 15 October 2026 and 15 January 2027.
- The Space Applications Centre (SAC) follows a rolling application process. Students should submit their applications at least 45 days before their preferred joining date. The centre allows joining on the 1st, 11th and 21st of every month, depending on approval and availability.
How to Apply
Students should apply only through the concerned ISRO centre where they want to complete the internship or project.
Since the application process, available disciplines, and timelines differ from one centre to another, applicants are advised to check the latest notification on the respective ISRO centre’s website before submitting their application.
Selection is based on eligibility, availability of projects, and approval from the concerned centre. ISRO has also stated that meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection.
