CEO Grant Halloran said Hyderabad’s technical talent, infrastructure and government support were among the factors behind the company’s decision to establish and expand its India presence.
For HR teams, the expansion points to continued demand for technology professionals in Hyderabad, particularly in engineering and AI-related roles. The workforce plan also indicates that GCC hiring will extend beyond traditional IT support functions to product, technology and global operations.
Billtrust serves more than 2,600 B2B suppliers and 14 million buyers globally, according to the company. Its platform processes more than $1 trillion in annual trade credit volume.
The ₹450-crore investment and 1,000-member workforce plan place the Hyderabad centre among the recent GCC expansions adding technology and specialised roles to the city’s employment market.
