Rishi Raj Gupta steps down as APAC HR Head at Meta India

Meta India’s Rishi Raj Gupta has stepped down from his role as APAC HR Head after 7 years of association with the company.

He joined in 2017, he was an integral part of the Indian leadership team, he was leading HR for all functions and teams based in India for all Meta family of apps including Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
A Meta spokesperson said that Rishi, HR Director for India/APAC, chose to depart for a new career phase after seven years, having significantly influenced the region’s growth and development.
He has worked across Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Management Consulting, and Consumer-goods industries for over 19 years.
Rishi has been a part of traditional, new-age, and start-ups alike. In this journey, he got multiple opportunities to build impactful HR teams.

Prior to Meta India, he was associated with Accenture Management Consulting as Manager – Talent & Organization. His earlier stints include working with Walmart and RPG Enterprises.
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources from Delhi School of Economics, and completed his Bachelor of Legislative Law from Symbiosis International University.
