
Barclays is set for a senior HR leadership transition as Aditi Mahadevan Nair, Managing Director and Head of Human Resources for Asia Pacific, announced her departure.

Sharing the update on LinkedIn, Aditi reflected on her four-year journey with Barclays, describing it as an “unforgettable” chapter marked by meaningful professional relationships, leadership support, and opportunities that pushed her beyond her comfort zone.
“A memorable journey comes to an end as I close my last week with Barclays,” she wrote, thanking colleagues across the Asia-Pacific region and globally for their partnership, candid conversations, and friendships.
Career Journey and Extensive Experience
Aditi joined Barclays in September 2022 as Managing Director and Head of Human Resources for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. During her tenure, she played a key role in shaping the people agenda across one of the bank’s most strategically important regions.

Before joining Barclays, Aditi spent nearly 18 years with Citi, where she held several senior HR leadership positions across India and Asia Pacific. Her most recent roles included Chief Human Resources Officer for India and South Asia, APAC Head of Talent, Learning and Diversity, and APAC HR Head for Markets and Securities Services.
Earlier in her career, she worked with Bharti Airtel, contributing to leadership development, performance management, talent management, and organizational capability-building initiatives.
An MBA in Human Resources and Finance from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, Aditi is recognized for her expertise in talent strategy, organizational development, leadership effectiveness, diversity and inclusion, and workforce transformation.
Her next career move has not yet been announced.
