Big Bazaar appoints Kamaldeep Singh as Chief Executive Officer

Future Group India elevates Kamaldeep Singh as Chief Executive Officer of Big Bazaar, based out of Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

He succeeds Sadashiv Nayak who is appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Future Retail Limited on August 25, 2021.

Earlier, Kamaldeep was working as President of Food & FMCG Business with the Future Group India, and he was heading Food & FMCG Business for Future Group for Hyper and Small Format Stores- Big Bazaar, Easyday, Heritage, and HyperCity & Reporting to Group CEO Kishore Biyani.

Kamaldeep has been associated with Future Group since 2008 and has worked in various positions as a business development leader.

Prior to joining Future Group, he was working with Reliance Retail as Senior Manager for almost two years, and earlier he has been associated with Wrigley India.

Kamaldeep is a graduate engineer from Punjab Technical University and holds masters degree in Marketing from the Institue of Rural Management, Anand.

Kishore Biyani is the founder of Big Bazaar, an Indian retail chain of hypermarkets, discount departmental stores and grocery stores. The company provides groceries, food items, kitchen appliances, personal care products, and more.

In the month of January this year, Reliance has acquired Future Group’s Big Bazaar.
