The strategy relies on a specialized enterprise methodology called “context engineering,” which processes unstructured operational data into strategic business insights.

Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar S spoke at Cognizant’s AI Forum.

He explained that the proprietary system works by systematically gathering fragmented signals across customer-facing divisions.

The platform continuously monitors and synthesizes interactions spanning corporate emails, internal chat channels, financial transactions, and virtual project meetings.

Developed in strategic partnership with Workfabric—an artificial intelligence startup co-founded by Rohan Murty—the platform operates by blending these data points to build dynamic “digital twins” of client accounts.

This comprehensive framework allows advanced large language models to understand ongoing client pain points and flag unvoiced corporate vulnerabilities in real time.

Cognizant Proactive Deal Packaging and Risk Mitigation

By evaluating workplace communication patterns collectively, the platform empowers account managers to pivot from reactive support to proactive consulting.

During a live demonstration, company leadership showcased how the AI detected a client struggling under intense pressure to reduce engineering overhead.

Rather than waiting for a formal request for proposal (RFP), the system instantly suggested that Cognizant pitch a targeted quality assurance optimization framework, successfully opening a new sales opportunity.

Beyond deal generation, the technology acts as an early warning system for delivery and operational risk.

It flags conversational anomalies that point toward customer dissatisfaction or project delays.

This allows leadership to implement corrective strategies before problems escalate.

Expansion Projections and Strategic Internal Staffing

Cognizant, which has already upskilled over 340,000 employees in AI competencies, expects the commercial impact of the platform to scale rapidly.

The company projects the current $200 million incremental pipeline will swell fivefold. This expansion is expected to reach $1 billion by the end of 2026.

Furthermore, the technology is reshaping internal human resource allocation.

Instead of relying purely on resume keywords or static talent databases, resource managers now query the system to analyze actual project contributions and past work experience.

This process allows them to match the best-equipped consultants to newly generated client opportunities.
