EPFO Portal to Go Offline for 3 Days in June 2026 – Tech Upgrade

EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation) has announced a temporary three-day shutdown of its online services this month as it undertakes a planned technology upgrade on its digital platform.

The move will impact both claim submission and processing services available through its portal.
According to an official notice on the EPFO website, the online system for Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) claim submission and processing will remain unavailable from June 26, 2026 (12:00 AM) to June 28, 2026 (11:59 PM).
During this period, members will not be able to initiate or process EPF-related requests via the portal.

In addition to the web portal disruption, EPFO services will also be temporarily inaccessible on the mobile platform UMANG App.
As per the message displayed on the app, certain EPF-related services will remain unavailable until July 2, 2026, extending the impact of the upgrade beyond the web shutdown window.
The organization has taken this step as part of its broader efforts to enhance system performance, strengthen digital infrastructure, and improve user experience for millions of EPF subscribers across India.
Once the upgrade is completed, EPFO is expected to restore services with improved speed, stability, and security features.

Members are advised to plan their transactions in advance to avoid inconvenience during the downtime period.
