Deloitte launches a New AI Studio in London with Google Cloud

Today, June 17, 2026, Professional services firm Deloitte has announced the launch of a new AI Studio at its London campus in collaboration with Google Cloud, aimed at accelerating the adoption of Agentic AI across UK businesses.

Scheduled to open in late July, the Deloitte AI Studio will serve as a co-innovation hub where Deloitte experts and clients can design, test, and deploy production-ready Agentic AI solutions. The facility will focus on key sectors including public services, financial services, retail, consumer products, healthcare, life sciences, and telecommunications.

The studio is designed to help organizations move beyond AI experimentation and implement autonomous AI systems capable of making decisions and executing tasks.

In retail, the focus will be on enhancing customer experiences through Agentic AI, while healthcare and TMT organizations will explore new business models and workflow transformation opportunities.

Deloitte to Upskill 1,000 AI Specialists

Alongside the studio launch, Deloitte has unveiled an ambitious workforce development initiative to train 1,000 members of its UK AI and data workforce on Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise platform.

The certification program aims to build one of the UK’s largest pools of professionals skilled in implementing advanced Agentic AI architectures.

Driving the Next Phase of AI Adoption

Speaking at the Google Cloud London Summit, Hayley McKelvey, Chief AI Officer, Deloitte said that organizations are increasingly seeking AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes rather than just productivity improvements.

She noted that the AI Studio and talent investment will provide the infrastructure needed to make Agentic AI a practical reality for UK enterprises.

Maureen Costello highlighted that many British organizations are now moving AI initiatives into production and emphasized the importance of expanding access to advanced AI capabilities.

The new facility will also host innovation labs where clients can prototype and validate Agentic AI solutions within four weeks, helping reduce deployment timelines.

According to Matt Lacey, the London studio further strengthens Deloitte’s alliance with Google Cloud and complements the firm’s existing Experience Centres in Egypt and India.
