Announced on September 8, 2026, the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group will be part of the Accenture Google Business Group. It will bring together Accenture’s Gemini Enterprise-certified professionals, forward-deployed engineers, Google Cloud engineering talent and Accenture’s industry and functional expertise.

1,000 Engineers to Support Enterprise AI Adoption

The new group will build on Accenture’s nearly 50,000 Google Cloud-skilled professionals. Accenture and Google Cloud plan to expand Gemini Enterprise training and certification while establishing a 1,000-person FDE workforce to work with clients on their AI and data requirements.

The engineers will support organisations across different stages of AI adoption, from smaller business-unit implementations to wider enterprise deployments. The group will operate across the Gemini Enterprise portfolio and focus on four areas:

  • Increasing Gemini Enterprise adoption through implementation frameworks and proprietary accelerators.
  • Developing repeatable, industry-specific solutions to reduce deployment time.
  • Helping organisations move from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale deployment through dedicated capability centres.
  • Supporting wider employee adoption and use of Gemini Enterprise capabilities.

YouTube AI Deployment

Accenture and Google Cloud also pointed to their work with YouTube as an example of the partnership’s existing AI deployments.

During increased demand around NFL Sunday Ticket, YouTube worked with Accenture and Google Cloud to deploy a Gemini Enterprise agent. According to Accenture, the deployment increased customer sentiment by 11% and reduced average handle time by 37%.

The new business group builds on the companies’ existing Generative and Agentic AI Center of Excellence and Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program.

Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO, Accenture, said the group will bring together AI and data capabilities, talent and industry expertise to help clients create value from AI.

Thomas Kurian, CEO, Google Cloud, said the initiative will expand the expertise and resources available to customers seeking to deploy agentic AI.

Accenture was also named Google Cloud’s 2026 Global Services Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.
