DEPL Appoints Dr. Mukul H Chopra as Group CHRO

DEPL – Dinesh Engineers Limited has appointed Dr. Mukul H Chopra as its Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Based in Mumbai, Mukul will lead the company’s people strategy, organisational transformation, leadership development, and talent agenda as DEPL continues to strengthen its growth and business expansion.

Extensive Experience

A seasoned HR leader with over three decades of experience, Mukul has held senior HR leadership positions across telecommunications, retail, technology, logistics, and digital businesses.

He joined DEPL after serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Transaction Solutions International (India) Pvt Ltd (TSI). Before TSI, he was Chief Human Resources Officer at ConveGenius, where he led the people function for more than two years.

Earlier in his career, he served as Head- Human Resources at Club Factory, Human Resources Director at Huawei, Head of Talent Acquisition at Aircel, Group HR Head at Arshiya International, and Head HR – Global Technical Sales, India Branch at Huawei, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the company’s India-based global technical sales HR operations.

His leadership journey also includes key roles at Reliance Retail, Reliance Infocom, Bharti Airtel, Essar Telecom, and Jindal Strips, building expertise across talent acquisition, organisational development, HR transformation, business partnering, and leadership development.

Mukul holds an MBA in Human Resources from Panjab University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
