Mondelez elevates Mahalakshmi R as chief people officer, South East Asia

Mondelez International Inc. (formerly Cadbury) an American multinational confectionery, food, holding and beverage, and snack food company has elevated Mahalakshmi R as Chief People Officer, South East Asia.

Earlier she was working as Head- HR, Mondelez India. In her new role, she takes responsibility for the people and culture agenda of Mondelez International, South East Asia.

Recently, Shilpa Vaid has joined the company and she has succeeded as Head- HR, India.

Mahalakshmi R. is an HR Leader with over two decades of experience spanning Head HR roles, HR Global COE Leader roles, business consulting roles with Big5 Consulting, and large-scale transformation leadership across India, Africa, UK, and now South East Asia.

Prior to joining Mondelez International, she has been associated with Airtel as Senior Vice President & Global Head of Talent. Previously, she also worked with companies like Ranbaxy, Ballarpur Industries, EY, Arthur Andersen, and Aon in HR leadership roles.
