Nykaa appoints Surender Mehta as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this new role, he will further the company values and promote its growth culture.

Surender has more than 19 years of a long stint at Vodafone, and over two decades of experience in human resources, spanning a wide range of enterprises- MNCs to family businesses and across industries –IT/IT Enabled Services, Telecommunications, Hospitality, International Trading, and Manufacturing.

He has successfully led and executed strategic, specialist, and generalist HR roles in blue-chip companies at various business life cycle stages. Passionate about building Culture, Inclusion, Talent Vitality, and doing social good.

Surender is currently HR Director – VOIS India and Global Head of HR – VOIS Business where his responsibility includes leading People agenda, Properties, Administration, and CSR. He began his journey at Vodafone in 2001 holding various positions before becoming the VP – Corporate HR.

An MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad, he went on to do an advanced management programme from Harvard Business School in 2014.
